Entries close 12 noon Wednesday 26th April.

 

The Dark Horse Wine Bar Hunters Steeplechase of €10,000

Of which the second will receive €2,000, the third €1,000, the fourth €500 and the fifth €250

A steeplechase for † Certified Hunters four yrs old and upwards that have been placed first, second, third or fourth in a Steeplechase confined to Certified Hunters or in a Point-to- Point Steeplechase in Ireland between 28th September, 2013 and 25th April, 2017 and that have not won more than two steeplechases confined to Certified Hunters.

About two miles and seven furlongs

€70 to enter, €20 extra if declared to run

Weights: 4-y-o ....10st 3lb; 5-y-o ........... 11st 1lb

6-y-o and up ......................................... 11st 4lb

Mares allowed ..............................................7lb

Penalty - (to count from 1st January, 2015)

Winner of a steeplechase .................... 5lb extra

Exclusions - Horses that have won a *race other than (a) Farmers Races or (b) certified Hunters Steeplechases.

Riders - Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules.

† A Hunters Certificate valid in accordance with Rule 78 for the 2016/2017 season

for each horse entered must be lodged at the Office of the Governing Bodies, the

Turf Club, The Curragh, Co. Kildare, not later than 25th April, 2017 or the horse

is not qualified to start.

*Including races under any National Hunt Rules or Rules of Racing
