Watering to commence at Inchydoney & Tralee

The Carbery (F) Clonakilty committee have informed us that the county of Cork had 46mm of rain last week which has improved ground conditions at the track in Inchydoney.

The Point to Point takes place on Sunday, May 28.

However, with much of this week forecast dry, the clerk of the course has said the course is being spiked and will be watered, with the aim of providing good ground.

Update on Tralee Point to Point

Tralee point-to-point will take place on Saturday 27th of May. The course was spiked on Thursday 18th May with watering having commenced on Saturday 20th May.

Along with the six race card, the event will host a family fun day with a pony race, dog show craft stalls, bouncy castles, pony rides, face painting, sand art, clay art, hot food catering and a full bar all there on the day also.

So whether your into shopping, horse-racing or bringing the kids and pets for a day out there seems to be something for everyone.

There are six races on the card with entries for the meeting closing on Tuesday 23rd of May.
