High Class Fillies & Mares at Spring HIT/P2P Sale

A number of attractive fillies and mares from leading NH families will be offered at next week’s Goffs UK Spring Horses-in-Training/Point-to-Point Sale at Doncaster on Wednesday 24 & Thursday 25 May.


A number of recent form horses have been supplemented into the sale since the catalogue went to print and among them are some highly promising filly and mare racing prospects. They include the last start Bumper winner Duhallow Gesture (
Lot 429), a King’s Theatre half-sister to the Listed winner ME AND BEN and out of a half-sister to the Gr.1 winner RHINESTONE COWBOY and Northern Beau (435), a 4YO who has won both of her Point-to-Point starts. Lots also include Point-to-Point winners Grageelagh Girl (457) and Outta The West (458).


There are also a number of fillies and mares in the main catalogue hailing from leading black-type families that shape as attractive racing and breeding prospects and some of the highlights include:

  • 491, Miss Spent, a Hurdle winning daughter of Presenting who is a half-sister to the Listed winner and Gr.1 placed OSCAR ROCK. From the family of Gr.2 winner JESSBER'S DREAM.
  • 548, Magic Of Light, a Hurdle winning and Gr.3 placed daughter of Flemensfirth who is a half-sister to the Gr.1 winner PINGSHOU and the Graded placed Mughas and Sizing Platinum.
  • 560, Oscar’s Song, an Oscar half-sister to the multiple Gr.2 winner and Gr.1 placed LYREEN LEGEND and the Listed winner and Gr.2 placed KING'S DAUGHTER.
  • 596, Dance And Romance, a Kayf Tara daughter of the Gr.2 winning mare SWEETHEART.
  • 642, Fortunello, a King's Theatre daughter of the Listed placed Supreme Leader mare Wyldello and an own-sister to the Gr.2 placed Cogry. From the family of Gr.2 winner MARELLO.
  • 648, Western Breeze, a Hurdle winning daughter of Westerner and a half-sister to the Listed winner MALL DINI.
  • 689, Nothing Compares, a Harbour Watch filly out of the Gr.3 winning mare ENDORSEMENT and a half-sister to the Gr.3 winner and Gr.1 placed MORES WELLS.
  • 691, Cosmic Diamond, a Multiplex half-sister to the Listed winner ALEGRALIL and the Listed placed Theatrical Star. From the family of the 14 time winner and multiple Listed winner DUBLIN FLYER.
  • 702, Oscar’s Prospect, a half-sister to the Gr.2 placed The Cockney Mackem and out of a half-sister to the Gr.1 winner and sire VINNIE ROE.
  • 739 (supplementary entry), Showtime Lady, a Mastercraftsman half-sister to the Gr.1 winner SUBLIMITY and Gr.3 winner MARBUSH.

A total of 45 supplementary entries have been taken for the Spring HIT/P2P Sale and they can be viewed via the link below. The Sale will start at 11am on Wednesday 24 May and at 10am on Thursday 25 May.
