CoPa - Ireland introduces Derfen - SSRD and Mud scale product

CoPa-Ireland is delighted to announce that they just introduced a new product to combat the effects of sweet itch during the summer months. CoPa Ireland has been granted the distribution rights of Derfen for the Republic of Ireland and the UK markets.

Derfen is very effective against SSRD and mud scale. Even on advanced stages of dermatitis, results are outstanding. Derfen is 100% natural and has no side effect and does not trigger allergies. Another advantage of the 500ml (16fl.oz) bottle is the special applicator. With it, you will be able to apply Derfen directly on the skin (even through thick hair) and you will not slather it all; thus making Derfen economical. You do not need to spread the lotion all over the body but only on the affected areas. Derfen can also be combined with Vaseline (petroleum jelly) to increase protection in a process of skin care management regimen (back, limbs, bottom of neck...)

Strong Seasonal Summer Recurrent Dermatitis

1 Apply Derfen every 2 or 3 days, directly on the skin on any affected areas, insist between mane's hairs, at the base of the tail; treatment should last ten days. Then, apply Derfen each time your horse has signs of itching.

2 During the day that follows the first application, the skin should become crusty and wounds get fat. It means Derfen is working. Prior to additional application(s), delicately brush the excess of crust off (do not rub too hard), Derfen will then penetrate more efficiently.

3 One application every 2 or 3 days is recommended the first two weeks but as every horse's skin is different( thin or thick) ,intervals may be 3 or 4 days. As soon as your horse is rubbing, additional application(s) is needed.

4 After 10 or 12 days, apply Derfen if there is any signs of itching; if your horse is very allergic to parasites, applications will have to be more frequent.

It is another product that we have added to our portfolio in order to meet the needs of our clients. For more information on the products please feel free to contact us directly on +353 51 383362 or email info@copa-ireland.com
