Wild Cards added to Tattersalls Ireland Cheltenham April Sale

The quality of the 2017 Tattersalls Ireland Cheltenham April Sale has been further enhanced by the addition of seventeen top class entries. 

Wild Card entries:

Lot 1:     Phoenix Rock 5yo mare by Winged Love:

Fell at the last when challenging the leader in the Maiden at Loughanmore.

Lot 5:     Belmont Jewel 5yo mare by Westerner:

A progressive half sister to JESSBER'S DREAM, who won her last start at Courtown.

Lot 10:   Daydream Aulmes 4yo gelding by Linda's Lad:

An impressive debut run when beaten only 1/2 length in his Maiden at Garthorpe. 

Lot 13:   Smuggler's Blues 5yo gelding by Yeats:

 

 

Stayed on strongly after the last and showed a willing attitude to win his Maiden at Quakerstown. Out of Rosy de Cyborg.

Lot 19:   Chooseyourweapon 4yo gelding by Flemensfirth:

An effortless 6 length debut winner of the competitive Maiden at Inch, second dam LOVE THE LORD.

Lot 20A: Brewin'upastorm 4yo gelding by Milan:

Caught the eye in running throughout and showed a telling turn of foot to win his Maiden at Quakerstown by 8 lengths. Half brother to the Dam of WESTERN RYDER.

Lot 23:   Ravensdale 5yo gelding by Flemensfirth:

The eye-catching 6 length winner at Loughbrickland and previously placed 3rd to Cool Getaway (who subsequently sold for £305,000 at the Tattersalls Ireland Cheltenham December Sale). Out of a half sister to TIME FOR RUPERT.

Lot 25A: Deputy Jones 4yo filly by Milan:

 

 

Produced at the last to win her Maiden going away at the line at Loughanmore. Out of a half sister to CANE BRAKE & JUDGE ROY BEAN.

Lot 26A: Onefortheroadtom 4yo gelding by Fair Mix:

Jumped well throughout and rallied all the way to the line to win his Maiden at Oldcastle.

Lot 29:   Global Citizen 5yo gelding by Alkaadhem:

The full brother to A Hare Breath displayed a high cruising speed to win his Maiden eased down by 4 lengths.

Lot 30:   Tossapenny 4yo gelding by Presenting:

The highly impressive 6 length winner of his Maiden at Inch, showing a powerful turn of foot in the process. Out of a half sister to KILCASH.

Lot 35:   Copper Gone West 4yo filly by Westerner:

Bounded clear to win her Maiden at Inch on her debut run by 10 lengths. Out of a half sister to COPPER BLEU.

Lot 37:   Battleoverdoyen 4yo gelding by Doyen:

Asserted on the run-in to win the Maiden at Loughanmore on his debut run in impressive fashion. From a top black type French family.

Lot 40:   Strike In Milan 5yo gelding by Milan:

Mistake at the 2nd last when making headway in the above average 5yo Maiden at Inch. Battled to the line to be placed 2nd.

Lot 41:   Court Liability 4yo gelding by Court Cave:

Headed on the run-in but stuck to his task well when placed 2nd in the Maiden at Loughanmore. Out of a half sister to TREACLE & LUCKY BAY.

Lot 44:   Peterborough 4yo gelding by Fuisse:

In a particularly fast race, he stuck to his task well on his debut to win the 4yo Maiden at Curraghmore. A half brother to PYTHAGORE.

Lot 45:   Equus Secretus 5yo gelding by Brian Boru:

Ran out the impressive 12 length winner on his debut of the Open Maiden at Dingley.
