A total of 13 supplementary entries have been taken so far for the Goffs UK Spring Horses-in-Training/Point-to-Point Sale at Doncaster (24 – 25 May) and include Duhallow Gesture who won a bumper at Tipperary last night.
Trained by Damian Murphy, the 5YO mare (offered as Lot 429) won a Point-to-Point at Quakerstown in April and put in an impressive performance in last night’s Point-to-Point Bumper - winning by two lengths. The Racing Post commented that she “appeals as a mare who could do well over jumps at staying trips” and “she has evidently matured well since running twice in bumpers last season.” Duhallow Gesture also shapes as a leading breeding prospect, being by King’s Theatre and a half-sister to the Listed winner ME AND BEN, an own-sister to the Listed placed Cogryhill and being out of a half-sister to the Gr.1 winners RHINESTONE COWBOY and WICHITA LINEMAN. Bang Bang Rosie, who finished behind Duhallow Gesture in second place in last night’s Point-to-Point Bumper has also been supplemented into the sale at Lot 438. Trained by Colin McBratney, the 5YO daughter of Stowaway is out of a Supreme Leader mare from the family of the Gr.2 winner MARELLO and Listed winner MISCHIEVOUS MILLY. Other supplementary entries that are now online include:
Additional supplementary entries have been taken and will be placed online over the coming days. Further entries will be taken up until the day of the sale and can be made by contacting Goffs UK on 44 (0)1450 372222.
