Raceday declarations now added to P2P.ie

At P2P.ie we are constantly striving to provide you, the point-to-point supporter, with as much easily accessible information about the sport.

A number of years ago, we introduced our live results section, which ensured that for the first time, the results of point-to-point races were available online within minutes of the horses passing the post.

In an expansion of our live results section, we will now be adding declarations to the website.

This will see the jockeys listed alongside the names of the horses who have been declared for each race on P2P.ie after declarations have been finalised.

Declarations close one hour before the stated off time for each race and we will strive to have the declarations listed online as soon as possible after this point.

This will allow racegoers who may be at another point-to-point in another part of the country, to keep fully up to date about what is happening at each and every Irish point-to-point fixture.

To view the declarations on our mobile website, simply select RACEDAY LIVE from the menu bar which drops down from the top left of the screen.

Within RACEDAY LIVE, you will be given two options – LIVE RESULTS or DECLARATIONS.

Selecting LIVE RESULTS will bring you to the previous live results page, listing the first four finishers, the distances and a race comment. Choosing DECLARATIONS, will bring you to the new declarations page.

Each fixture and the six races scheduled to take place at it will be listed on this page. When the declarations have been uploaded for a race, the number of declared runners will appear beneath that race, and by clicking on that race name, you will be able to see those runners and riders.

AWAITING DECLARATIONS will appear beneath all races which have not yet had their declarations added.

To view the declarations on the desktop website, click LIVE RESULTS from the main menu bar and all races which have declarations added, will appear.
