Sunday 14th October 2018
Loughrea at Dartfield, Kilreekill, Co.Galway
First Race: 2.00pm
Number of Entries: 90
Admission: €10
Sunday’s fixtures at Loughrea attracted a healthy entry of 90 and preparations were in full swing when we were talking to hunt secretary Pauline Gavin;
‘Preparations are going great. The fences are going in at the minute and the tents will go up on Saturday. We have had plenty of rain so the ground should be going towards yielding.
We have a hospitality tent, which we are trying this year. There will also be the usual chip van, a coffee stall as well and a bouncy castle. There are reasonable entries given the time of year and we have a good covering of grass’.
