Race 1: Foley Timber & Radley Engineering 4yo Mares Maiden
Declan Queally has been one of the handlers to follow this season and whilst his ANOTHER JUDY was no match for the very impressive My Whirlwind at Ballycahane on her debut, she looked destined to finish in the placings when exiting at the last.
She will be out for compensation, whilst the market will give the best guide to the newcomers in this small field.
Race 2: Goffs UK Aintree Sale 4yo Geldings Maiden
The Hotelier brings the only piece of form into the race, however he pulled-up on his debut at Tallow a month ago.
Colin Bowe and Donnchadh Doyle have saddled recent winners within this age division, and between them, they account for nearly half the entries in this race.
Race 3: Gain Horse Feeds, Dairygold & Denis Condon 5yo Mares Maiden
The Sam Curling yard saddled a winning mare at Turtulla last week and they will be hoping to add to their seasons tally with FORTHEGREATERGOOD in this. The daughter of Yeats has posted two very consistent displays of late, beaten by less than two lengths at both Kilfeacle and Nenagh.
The Robert Tyner pair of Direct Image and Natural Fit both have a second place to their names, Some Bite was the only newcomer when she made her debut against more experienced types in the autumn and can be expected to have improved, whilst Valcourt was unlucky last weekend, albeit in hunt company.
Race 4: Jimmy Linehan Transport, The Swallow Inn & McCarthy Insurance 5yo Geldings Maiden
LIFEISAHIGHWAY bounced back from a disappointing display at Dungarvan when he chased home a smart sort at Borris House recently, and as the pair pulled nicely clear, he is the one to beat if running here, having also been entered in Ballyragget.
Stable companion Normofhtenorth was second recently at Tyrella, whilst De Hollow Man has plenty of experience which will stand to him.
Race 5: The Village Inn Winner Of Three
NELLYS MONEY provided Derek OConnor with his 1,200th point-to-point winner when scoring impressively on debut at Dromahane over the Christmas period and she could well be the one to follow in this small field event.
Fellow mare Fort Worth Texas has won two of her three starts and so has to be respected and could be the likely main danger.
Race 6: The Local Bars - Cotters, Ahernes & Butchers 5yo Adjacent Maiden
MISTY ADAGE has changed stables since we last saw her in competitive action, however she finished third at Curraghmore on that occasion in a race which has produced three subsequent winners. She could overcome that absence in this.
Fanahans Well produced his best run to date when dropping into adjacent company at Knockanard most recently, and only a head separated him from the potentially re-opposing Artic Fever.
