Video Archives | Comber 2002

Over the coming weeks, we will be adding videos to some of the old point-to-point fixtures that we have on file.  The next year we are adding videos from is the 2002 season.

The next meeting to be added to the video archives is the North Down Foxhounds meeting at Comber.

Below is a re-cap of what happened on the day.

The opening race at the North Down Foxhounds point-to-point fixture at Comber was won in good fashion by Silverbridge and Noel McParlan.

Oriel Dancer and David O’Brien ran out a three length winner of the open lightweight.  The pair stayed on gamely in the straight to hold off All But and Steven Clements.

Huncheon Paddy was an impressive winner of the four and five-year-old geldings maiden when registering an eight length victory in the hands of William Rankin.

Mark O’Hare was in the winners enclosure when winning the six-year-old geldings maiden aboard Felix.

J A Smith and claimed the six-year-old and upwards maiden when holding on in the closing stages to deny Christinas Cottage by a length.

The concluding race of the day the seven-year-old geldings maiden saw an impressive winner in the form of Timed Supreme who came in front by 20 lengths in the hands of Robert Quinn.
