There are six horses declared for the Clifford Groundcare Hunters Chase at Killarney on Monday evening.
The recent Punchestown Festival winner Rewritetherules leads the field, the Shark Hanlon trained gelding impressed on his latest victory in the Bishopscourt Cup when running out an eight-length victory.
He will take on recent Cork winner Warriors Tale who carries the familiar colours of Trevor Hemmings. The Eugene O’Sullivan trained 12-year-old posted an impressive performance when defeating Winged Leader by two and a half lengths.
The ever-consistent Staker Wallace is also among the declarations, the JP McManus owned-gelding has been placed on his latest three outings and was last seen when finishing third to Bob And Co in the champion hunters chase.
Some Man from the David Christie yard will be hoping to make the long journey from Fermanagh all worthwhile as he will take his place under the guidance of Barry O’Neill.
Two-time winner It’s All Guesswork who runs in the colours of Cullentra House Stable Staff Syndicate is another among the declarations, he will be partnered by Jamie Codd.
Space Oddity from the Turlough O’Connor stable will complete the field, he was last seen when finishing fourth to Robin De Roost at Dawstown on bank holiday Monday.
