Video Archives | Loughanmore April 2002

Over the coming weeks, we will be adding videos to some of the old point-to-point fixtures that we have on file.  The next year we are adding videos from is the 2002 season.

The East Antrim Hunt point-to-point fixture at Loughanmore is the latest meeting to be added to our video archives.

Below gives a brief re-cap of what happened on the day.

Robert Patton and Mourne Beau took the opening confined hunt winners races on the concluding day of two-day Loughanmore point-to-point fixture in 2002.

It was a quick double for Robert Patton who took the five and six-year-old geldings maiden in good style aboard Gauppo Boy.

Dad’s Army Two ran out a six-length winner of the open lightweight in the hands of J Johnston.

Gordon Elliott registered a double on the day, his first winner of the afternoon came aboard the Pat It Forward in the four and five-year-old geldings maiden.

Sandend gave Elliott his second winner of the afternoon when landing the mares winners of two contest by a distance.

The concluding six-year-old and upwards maiden was won by James McGurgan aboard Kingarriff Boy.
