Video Archives | Tyrella March 2003

Over the coming weeks, we will be adding videos to some of the old point-to-point fixtures that we have on file.  The next year we are adding videos from is the 2003 season.

The next fixture to be added to the video archive section is the East Down Foxhounds point-to-point fixture at Tyrella.

Below is a re-cap of what happened on the day.

The opening race at the East Down Foxhounds point-to-point at Tyrella was won by Drumking and Brian Hamilton.

Tower Of Lloyd responded well to pressure to hold off Ballyards by half a length in the five and six-year-old geldings maiden.

Gordon Elliott didn’t have to wait long to register his second winner of the afternoon when taking division two of the five and six-year-old geldings maiden aboard Tep Kapi.

The open lightweight went the way of Grangewood King in the hands of Stephen Magee.

Katy Rose and Mark O’Hare combined to land the five and six-year-old mares maiden.

Iron Monty supplied Gordon Elliott with his third winner of the afternoon when taking the winners of two in good style.

The concluding race on the day, the seven and eight-year-old maiden was won by Tor Head in the hands of William Rankin.
