Video Archives | Oldcastle 2003

Over the coming weeks, we will be adding videos to some of the old point-to-point fixtures that we have on file.  The next year we are adding videos from is the 2003 season.

The next fixture to be added to the video archive section is the Ballymacad Foxhounds point-to-point fixture at Oldcastle.

Below is a re-cap of what happened on the day.

The opening race at the Ballymacad Foxhounds point-to-point meeting at Oldcastle saw Eurochancer and Claire MacMahon take the four-year-old in good fashion.

Little Dreamer showed admirable battling qualities to land the winners of one in the hands of Mark O’Hare.

The ladies open provided spectators with a thrilling finish with Green Light and Colleen Letters just holding on from Royal Toast and Brea Donnelly.

The ever consistent Bluefire added another win to his tally when winning the adjacent hunt maiden in the hands of Tommy Peoples.

Emerald Equity and Peter Buchanan stayed on gamely from the last to land the five and six-year-old geldings maiden.

The concluding race of the day, the seven-year-old maiden saw Total Warfare come home in front with Roger Quinlan in the saddle.
