Winning Irish Pointers Headline 24 Doncaster Autumn Sale Supplementary Entries

Top-class Irish pointers headline a total of 24 supplementary entries that have been taken for next Thursday’s Goffs UK Autumn Sale at Doncaster on Thursday 21 October and all can now be viewed online here.

This weekend’s P2P meetings may see some additional supplementary entries added to the sale early next week and at present, the 24 entries feature multiple winning Irish pointers, bumper winners and general horses-in-training. Current highlights include:

•    Lot 126, Bonne Debut (5YO M by Milan), winner of her debut P2P for Mark Scallan at Monksgrange. She is out of a half-sister to the Gr.2 winner RATHVINDEN.

•    128, Baghdad Central (5YO G by Mores Wells), the 14-length winner of his most recent P2P for Tom Keating at Oldcastle.

•    129, Music Drive (4YO G by Muhtathir), the impressive winner of his second P2P appearance for Colin Bowe at Monksgrange, having fallen at the last when challenging for the lead on his debut. He is a half-brother to the Gr.2 winner STREET NAME and L. winner KONIG DRIV.

•    131, Big Jim Beam (5YO G by Westerner), an unlucky faller at the last when looking the likely winner on his most recent P2P for Rob James at Monksgrange.

•    137, Howyabud (4YO G by Milan), placed second in both his bumper starts before running a smart second to Music Drive on his P2P debut on his most recent appearance for James Doyle at Monksgrange. He is a half-brother to the Gr.2 winner MARIA'S BENEFIT.

•    139, Ambitious Fellow (5YO G by Fame And Glory), winner of his most recent bumper for Peter Fahey at Fairyhouse.

•    140, Reddy’s Island (4YO F by Soldier Of Fortune), winner of her debut P2P for Colin Bowe at Oldcastle.

•    145, Willaston (5YO G by Morozov), winner of his debut over hurdles at Class 3 level for Ger Lyons at Gowran Park.

•    146, Sweet Auburn (5YO M by Ask), the smart winner of her most recent P2P for Colin Bowe at Moira.

Other lots include placed pointers Calvic (Lot 127), Escapeandevade (132), Tough Out (138), Frere D'Armes (141), Bold Light (142), Clear Ability (147) as well as the twice placed Auteuil chaser Hermann Clermont (133).

An additional yearling has also been added to the catalogue, Lot 43A, a filly by The Gurkha, which is eligible for the 2022 Goffs UK Premier Yearling Stakes.

The Goffs UK Autumn Sale at Doncaster will offer a catalogue of yearlings, horses-in-training and pointers and will be held on Thursday 21 October from 10am. Supplementary catalogues will be available at the
