The Two Amigos ground it out in the testing conditions to claim the 2022 Coral Welsh Grand National in the hands of David Pritchard for trainer Nicky Martin.
The son of Midnight Legend, has been running consistently this season and had shown plenty of promise on his latest run at Haydock last month.
The Two Amigos found plenty in the closing stages to hold off the late efforts of The Big Breakaway.
It was a great result for Irish Pointers who filled the six positions.
