SUMMARY
• 1985 was the saw Enda Bolger take his second title with 31 winners. Two less than he had in ’84 when coming out on top. Former Champion Tom Costello filled the runner up spot and took his third Western title in a row.
• Tony Martin took his first Northern award in 1985 and would go on to take three in total with the 1995 title ten years later being the next.
• Carmel Connaughton won the ladies title outright with a score of five winners having split the honor in ’84 with Caroline Beasley
• John Sleator was the champion in Leinster with an end of season total of 19 leaving him fourth overall
