Winners Race Confined Hunt Farmers
Confined Hunt Farmers Race for Certified Hunters aged 4 years old and upwards, the property of farmers living and farming in the Kildare Hunting District, to be defined by the Hunt Committee, and subscribers holding a valid Hunter Certificate to the Kildare Hunt, which have not won a race under the Rules of Racing or Steeplechasing other than Point to Point Steeplechases or Hunter Steeplechases. The holder of a Public Trainers Licence is not eligible to run a horse his own property in this race. No Penalties. Mares allowed 5lbs. 4-y-o Maidens Excluded. (Prize Money €1750: 1st €1225, 2nd €350, 3rd €175)

ENNISKILLEN has become something of a standing dish in this race as he looks to win it for the fourth consecutive year. Now a 14-year-old, he had his traditional pipe-opener in the PP Hogan race over the banks course here last Sunday, when out-running his price to finish a very encouraging fifth. Stablemate Change Your Story pulled-up on his first outing for the Maher yard, but has previously beaten leading open performer Fennos Storm to win a Dromahane maiden for Robert Tyner, whilst Cagliostro had finished placed as a four-year-old, but still remains a maiden.
