6 UK point-to-points took place over the weekend with 12 former Irish pointers gaining success for their new connections.

BREDWARDINE, HEREFORDSHIRE
SPOTLIGHT HORSE: Champione
The seven-year-old Champione recorded his second consecutive success this month when he won the hunt members race by 12 lengths over a six length win over Benemeade.
A winner at Necarne two years ago for Jerry Cosgrave, the son of Tikkanen was bought by his current Jonathan Tudor for £2,500 at the Ascot November sale in 2016.

HEXHAM, NORTHUMBERLAND
SPOTLIGHT HORSE: Allthekingshorses
The NPPA conditions race went to the 12-year-old Allthekingshorses for Nick Alexander. The son King’s Theatre won his five-year-old maiden at Lingstown for Colin Bowe in 2011.
This was Allthekingshorses’ fourth UK point-to-point success having also won four races on the track for Philip Hobbs.
CARMARTHENSHIRE AT TRECOED
SPOTLIGHT HORSE: Spencer Moon
Spencer Moon, runner-up in a confined maiden at Lismore in 2014 for Alan Tobin, took his fourth UK point-to-point win of the spring in the hunt member’s race which was also his third consecutive victory since the end of April.
This was the Kieran Price-trained winner’s eight UK point-to-point success having also won a hunter chase at Fontwell last May.
BRATTON DOWN, DEVON
SPOTLIGHT HORSE: Imogens Thunder
The seven-year-old Imogens Thunder registered his second success for his handler, Mary Tory in the restricted race by one and a half lengths having won on his previous run at Stafford Cross on the 29th April.
A faller at Dromahane on his debut last May, the son of Stowaway then finished fifth on his next start at Kinsale for Richard McGrath.
GRAFTON AT EDGCOTE
SPOTLIGHT HORSE: Tempelpirate
The Tim Underwood-trained Tempelpirate (pictured) has been a terrific servant for his connections and secured his 21st UK point-to-point victory in the club member’s conditions race by one and three quarter lengths over Kashmir Peak.
The son of Black Sam Bellamy was runner-up in the confined maiden at Dromahane in March 2013 for Gerry Cully.
The 11-year-old has ran 11 times this spring and has won on four of those starts as well as being placed a further five times.
TABLEY, CHESHIRE
SPOTLIGHT HORSE: Gowanauthat
Gowanauthat recorded his first UK point-to-point success when he took the club members race by a head for the Francesca Nimmo yard.
The son of Golan had six starts for Eugene O’Sullivan during 2013 and 2014 with his latest run coming at Castletown-Geoghegan in October 2014 when he won the five-and-six-year-old geldings’ maiden.
The now 10-year-old also won on six occasions on the track for Charlie Mann before moving to his current connections.
