Envoi Allen impresses on racecourse debut

"Envoi Allen made an impressive start to his career under rules when landing the bumper at Fairyhouse."

Envoi Allen made an impressive start to his career under rules when landing the concluding Royalhousedraw.com Pro/Am INH Flat Race at Fairyhouse by four lengths in the hands of Jamie Codd.

The Gordon Elliott trained gelding showed a lot to like when taking up the running over a furlong and a half out and kept on gamely on the run-in for a comfortable victory over Port Stanley.

The son of Muhtathir was an impressive winner of his point-to-point maiden at Ballinaboola in February when scoring by 10 lengths in the hands of Barry O’Neill.

The Colin Bowe handled gelding was then sold to Tom Malone Bloodstock Agent at the Tattersalls Ireland Cheltenham Sale for £400,000.
