Zambezi Sun sires black type chase winner at Auteuil

The Zambezi Sun sired, Spirit Sun, enjoyed success in the €80,000 Listed Chase Prix Air Landais over 22 furlongs at Auteuil on Sunday.

The Anne-Sophie Pacault-trained five-year-old has won both of his starts over fences and a Listed hurdle back in October at Auteuil.

The Group 1 winner's progeny are in good form having had a double last week, while the impressive debut winner Zambella is also set to run again this week.

The son of Dansili also sired the impressive Donatello Mail who won the five-year-old maiden at Toomebridge back in October 2018 for Cormac Doyle. The chestnut is now in training with David Dennis in the UK.

Zambezi Sun, who stands at Coolagown Stud in Cork, has stock already in Ireland with the likes of Willie Mullins, Noel Meade, Joesph O’Brien and Gordon Elliott.
