Video Archives | Limavady 2003

Over the coming weeks, we will be adding videos to some of the old point-to-point fixtures that we have on file.  The next year we are adding videos from is the 2003 season.

The next fixture to be added to the video archive section is the Route Hunt point-to-point at Limavady.

Below is a re-cap of what happened on the day.

Double Scene and Mark O’Hare took the opening five and six-year-old geldings maiden at the Route Hunt point-to-point fixture at Limavady.

There was dead heat called in division two of the five and six-year-old geldings maiden with Ah Yeah and Leo Gracey sharing the spoils with Tyrone Trucker and Robert Quinn.

Quinntownin and Aaron Stronge came home in front to land the five-year-old and upwards mares maiden.

Graeme Martin was on the scoresheet when landing division two of the five-year-old and upwards mares maiden aboard Crevamoy.

The open lightweight was won in good style by William Ulsterman in the hands of Patrick Cosgrave.

Jackie Kidd was in the winners’ enclosure when winning the opening division of the seven-year-old and upwards geldings maiden aboard Angel High.

Division two of the seven-year-old and upwards geldings maiden was won in good fashion by Lord Montagu and Mark O’Hare.  It was a double on the day for O’Hare who also won the opening race.

Finoel and Tommy Peoples were impressive winners of the confined hunt race when running out a six length victory over Bronco Lane.

The concluding race, the winners of one was won by Kilifi Creek in the hands of Johnny Vance.
