Grade 2 victory for Banbridge at Cheltenham

Cheltenham Festival winner Banbridge returned to the winners enclosure with an impressive six length victory in the Grade 2 From The Horse Mouth Podcast Arkle Challenge Trophy Trial Novices Chase at Cheltenham on Saturday.

The Ronnie Bartlett owned gelding justified favouritism when winning well in the hands of JJ Slevin who was returning from injury.

The six-year-old son of Doyen was last seen when winning his beginners chase at Gowran Park last month.

Banbridge started his career on the Irish pointing circuit with handler Colin McKeever.
