A total of 28 entries have been confirmed and are now online for Thursday’s Goffs Aintree Sale which will be held after racing at the iconic Randox Grand National Festival.
The Aintree Sale, which will be held in the winners’ enclosure following the final race on Thursday’s card, the Goffs Gr.2 Nickel Coin Mares’ Bumper, has become a proven source of racecourse talent having produced a remarkable five Grade 1 winners from its first five sales, including Grade 1 winners at the Cheltenham and Grand National Festivals.
Following the release of the initial 13 entries which were placed online last week (news here), an additional 15 entries have been taken following weekend racing in the UK and Ireland. Catalogues for the sale will be available at Aintree and the final batch of entries for the sale are:
• Flamingo Grove (4YO F by Blue Bresil), the impressive eight-length winner of her debut PTP for Jonathan Fogarty at Tattersalls.
• Dramatic Encore (4YO F by Walk In The Park), placed second to Flamingo Grove on her most recent PTP for Sean Doyle at Tattersalls.
• Realco (4YO G by Falco), the impressive nine and a half-length winner of his most recent bumper for Tom Weston at Uttoxeter.
• Kate Of The Lodge (5YO F by Westerner), the 16-length winner of her most recent PTP for Colin Bowe at Monksgrange.
• Mary Stanford (5YO F by Soldier of Fortune), the 11-length winner of her debut PTP for Pat Collins at Lisronagh.
• Star Of Diamonds (5YO G by Diamond Boy), the four and a half-length winner of his most recent PTP for Mark Scallan at Quakerstown.
• Jig’s Force (5YO G by Westerner), the four-length winner of his most recent PTP for Ross O'Sullivan at Tattersalls.
• Nastya (5YO F by Vendangeur), the eight-length winner of her most recent PTP for Maike Magnussen at Tattersalls.
• Copper Jack (5YO G by Doyen), winner of his most recent PTP for Colin Bowe at Lisronagh.
• Big Bert (4YO G by Affinisea), winner of his debut PTP for Joshua Newman at Garthorpe.
• Mount Mason (5YO G by Sandmason), a PTP winner who then placed second on his debut bumper at Exeter for Joshua Newman.
• Noticebox (4YO G by Gemix), fell at the last when racing for the win on his debut PTP for Johnny Hurley at Ballyknock.
• Claim The Throne (4YO G by Kapgarde), placed second on his most recent PTP for Roderic Kavanagh at Quakerstown.
• Paddys Policy (4YO G by Policy Maker), placed second on his debut PTP for Peter Croke at Quakerstown.
• I Give Theorders (4YO G by Order of St George), placed third on his debut PTP for Mary Ellen Doyle at Oldtown.
