RIP | Dan Kissane

We were very sorry to hear of the passing of Dan Kissane, who was the secretary of Ballindenisk point-to-point for many years and will be sorely missed by those who knew him. 

Sincere condolences to Dan’s wife Mary and their children Donal, Ciara, Paudie, Una, Dee and Michéal and to all his family and friends.

KISSANE (Cork): On May 3rd, 2025, suddenly, at home in Whitechurch, DAN, late of Bandon, formerly of FBD and Secretary of Ballindenisk Point-to-Point, dearly loved husband of Mary (née Williams) and much loved father of Donal, Ciara, Paudie, Una, Dee and Michéal and loving brother of Ellen, Michael, Margaret, Mary and the late John (Buddy).
 
Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, brother, sisters, sons-in-law Mike, Dave and Brian, daughters-in-law Katriona and Louise, grandchildren Leah, Killian, Eoin, Sophie, Ollie, Ali, Sam, Luca, Jack and Finn, nephews, nieces, relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends.
 
Reposing at Barry Bros. Funeral Home, Hazelwood, Glanmire on Thursday (May 8th) from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 1.00pm on Friday (May 9th) in St. Patrick’s Church, Whitechurch. Funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork which can be viewed on Life is a river
