The catalogue is complete for the Tattersalls Cheltenham December Sale to be held after racing on 12th December on the opening day of the two-day Cheltenham Christmas meeting.

The catalogue features:

•    28 selected lots, all winners or placed in point-to-points and under Rules
•    19 four-year-olds who won or placed in point-to-points or bumpers on debut

It can be viewed at www.tattersallscheltenham.com

The latest entries include the Colm Ryan-trained Charismatic Kid, who impressed with his 6l victory in the INH Flat Race at Navan at the weekend. The son of Affinisea was a comfortable winner, looks to have plenty more to come and hails from the talented family of the Grade 1 Drinmore Novice Chase winner Watson Lake.

The Nicky Martin-trained four-year-old mare Analitheia was the easy 4l winner of a four and five-year-olds’ bumper at Exeter last Friday and is by leading French sire Kapgarde.

They join the smart Young Rebel, who came home ahead in a hot Fairyhouse INH Flat Race at the end of November for trainer Mags Mullins. He is by the young sire Crystal Ocean, who is enjoying a tremendous run in point-to-points and on the track.

From the point-to-point field comes the winners of both divisions of the four-year-old geldings’ maiden at last weekend’s Ballycrystal meeting.

Thinkitdonjinxit was a ready winner on debut for handler Denis Murphy, the Vadamos gelding coming home 8l clear of the runner-up, while Peter Flood’s Watery Borren took the second division in style. The gelding is by Jet Away and from the family of the legendary 16-time winner Buck House, the Grade 1 winner Jessica’s Dream and the multiple graded race winners Beacon Edge and Roaring Bull.

Debrave Soldier (Soldier Of Fortune), a half-brother to the Grade 3-placed Theflyingking, was a debut runner-up at last weekend’s Dromahane meeting for James Doyle’s Baltimore Stables, and the four-year-old gelding has plenty to offer purchasers.

Sean Doyle of Monbeg Stables sends three to the sale, including last weekend’s runner-up Magic Arch, in addition to Hold The Throw and Order On Time, while Eamonn Doyle’s four-year-old mare Maxios Des Champs (Maxios), a first-time out winner at Boulta, is a smart prospect.

Lola De Magny, a four-year-old daughter of Jeu St Eloi, made all last weekend to win the Tattersalls Cheltenham-sponsored four-year-old mares’ maiden at Ballycrystal for handler Brian Lawless. The second-placed C’est Elle (Harzand), from Murphy’s Ballyboy Stables, is also entered.

Lots will be stabled in the Charles Turner yard and will be available for viewing on Thursday,11th December from 1.00pm and on Friday,12th December from 8.30am.

Printed copies of the catalogue can be collected at the sales office from the afternoon on Wednesday, 10th December.
