Entries for the Thurles Hunters Chase on Sunday 18th January, close on Tuesday 13th January at 12 noon.

Declarations to run must be made by 10am on Friday 16th January.

Winner will receive €6,000 (Penalty Value: €5,900), Second will receive €2,000, Third will receive €1,000, Fourth will receive €500, Fifth will receive €300, Sixth will receive €200

A steeplechase for † Certified Hunters five years old and upwards that have between 1st October, 2022 and 12th January, 2026 been placed either first, second, third or fourth in a Steeplechase confined to Certified Hunters in Ireland or in a Point-To- Point Steeplechase in Ireland and that have not won a race under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing since 1st March, 2025 other than Certified Hunters Steeplechases or Farmers Races.

€90 to enter, €10 extra if declared to run
Weights: 5-y-o ................................... 10st 13lbs
6-y-o and up ........................................ 11st 7lbs
Mares allowed ............................................. 7lbs

Riders: Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules.

† A Hunters Certificate valid in accordance with Rule 78 for the 2025/2026 season for each horse engaged must be registered at the Offices of The INHSC, The Curragh, Co. Kildare, not later than 12th January or the horse is not qualified to start.
