Entries are out for Listowel Hunters Chase

The 3m hunters chase scheduled to take place at Listowel on the June bank holiday Monday has attracted an entry of 20 horses.

The €10,000 contest is for horses that have been placed in a point-to-point or hunters chase since September 2015, but have not won under rules proper since March 2018.

There are host on interesting contenders in the line-up including ace hunter chaser On The Fringe who won last years’ renewal. While recent hunter chase winners Rewritetherules, Casey Jem and Flirting Lease are also amongst the entries.

Timmy Hyde’s All Hell Let Loose has been second in a host of opens this season and Drawn and Drank is another with plenty of open form.

Mount Colah was highly rated under rules in his prime and the 13-year-old ran well on his reappearance at Loughanmore recently finishing second to Kruzhlinin.

Electric Concorde is another who has also filled the runner-up spot behind the prolific winner Kruzhlinin at Ballindenisk recently.

While some recent maiden winners amongst the line-up include Top Question, Pyrios, Crutches Lad and Ask Harry.
