Papal Bull sires winner at Ballingarry on Sunday

The Coolagown Stud sire recorded his second point winner of the season on Sunday when Bunninadden got off the mark for Willie Murphy.

The gelding ran out an easy four-length winner in the seven-year-old maiden under the guidance of Stephen Connor.

Papal Bull has also produced the likes of Port Stanley, Duhallow Lad and Code Of Law over the years.

Port Stanley was a four-year-old winner at Portrush last May for Colin Bowe and Barry O'Neill. Jessica Harrington now trains the five-year-old who finished second in a bumper at Fairyhouse in the autumn.

Duhallow Lad finished second on his last point start at Dromahane in the five-year-old geldings maiden in April 2017. The gelding graduated to the track the following season enjoying numerous placings and a win at Plumpton in March 2018.

Code Of Law placed in his last three point-to-points for John Cummins back in 2016 before transitioning to the track in the UK.

Owned by the Affordable Partnership, the nine-year-old has enjoyed plenty of success between the rails, winning two handicap chases and placing on numerous occasions.
