Two of this weekend’s three point-to-point fixtures have been called off with the news that both Bandon and Ballycahane have been postponed.
Parts of the track at Ballycahane are waterlogged a scenario that was also replicated at Bandon.
Both fixtures have been rescheduled for Saturday March 7th, with original entries standing.
The postponements of both leaves Borris House as the sole remaining fixture taking place this weekend.
A bumper entry for that fixture had already resulted in the start time being brought forward by one hour. Racing at the Carlow venue gets underway on Sunday at 12 noon and the ground is described as Yielding to Soft following Friday’s course inspection.
With Bandon and Ballycahane moving to next weekend, they will join Tyrella on Saturday March 7th, whilst Lingstown, Lismore and Turtulla race on Sunday March 8th.
