Video Archives | Maralin October 2003

Over the coming weeks, we will be adding videos to some of the old point-to-point fixtures that we have on file.  The next year we are adding videos from is the 2003 season.

The Iveagh Hunts point-to-point fixture at Maralin is the next meeting to feature in the video archives section.

Below is a re-cap of what happened on the day.

It was good day for rider Brian Hamilton who registered a four-timer at the Iveagh Hunts point-to-point fixture at Maralin.

Hamilton was first off the mark when winning the opening four and five-year-old maiden aboard Deasun.

Voodoo Lounge supplied Hamilton with his second winner of the afternoon when claiming the five and six-year-old geldings maiden.

Hamilton didn’t have to wait long to pick up his third winner of the afternoon when landing the open lightweight aboard False Tail.

Andrew Lynch was the only other rider to get on the scoresheet at Maralin after he recorded a double on the day.  His first winner of the afternoon came courtesy of Galvaston in the five-year-old and upwards mares maiden.

Lynch was back in the winners enclosure when winning the seven-year-old and upwards maiden aboard Mulligan’s Moscow.

Brian Hamiltons fourth winner of the day came aboard Joey Dunlop in the winners of three contest.
