RIP | William Billy Flavin

P2P.ie were very sorry to learn of the passing of William ‘Billy’ Flavin who died peacefully at his home in the presence of his family on August 12th.

Billy’s son Ron Flavin will be known to many in the point-to-point and racing community having both partnered numerous winners. His brother Des was also a successful jockey riding many winners in the UK.

Our thoughts are with his wife Marian, children Shane, Ron, Hugh, Des and Violetta and his extended family and friends.

Peacefully, at his home, in the presence of his family.

His death is deeply regretted by his wife Marian, sister Irene, sons Shane, Ron, Hugh and Des, daughter Violetta, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at home, in Alston House, Thursday (August 13th) from 2pm. Removal on Friday (August 14th) to Manister Parish Church to arrive for 12pm Mass. Burial afterwards in Crecora Cemetery.
 
In compliance with current guidelines, Billy's funeral will be confined to family and close friends only.
The funeral cortage will pass Billy's residence on route to the cemetery at aprox 1.00pm
 
Messages of sympathy may be expressed through the condolence section below or mass cards and letters of sympathy can be sent to Cross's Funeral Directors.
