Clonmel Hunter Chase rescheduled for January 19
Horse Racing Ireland have announced that the cancelled Clonmel fixture, which features a Maiden Hunter Chase, has been rescheduled for Tuesday January, 19.
An 8am inspection yesterday morning found the course to be frozen in places, leading to the afternoon’s racing being cancelled.
The fixture will fresh entries which will close at 12 noon on Thursday, January 14, with declarations to be made by 10am on Sunday, January 17.
The original race had attracted a capacity field of 14 runners including the recent Limerick runner-up Super Citizen and this season’s dual winners Ask D’Man and Templebredin.
