Treo Eile launches website

The recently established Treo Eile, is a not-for-profit organization that aims at providing assistance to owners and trainers looking to re-home their racehorses once their careers on the track have finished.

Treo Eile which means ‘another direction’ is a website that enables racehorse owners to connect with those wishing to retrain racehorses.

Their main aims are to;

Connect thoroughbred owners with retrainers who can help their horses make the transition to another career while also joining riders with experienced coaches and trainers.

Compile an easily accessible list of all events for ex-racehorses & develop a better funded events calendar for thoroughbreds in all disciplines.

Develop a database to record horses leaving training & entering into a new discipline/retiring to the paddock etc.

Promote the thoroughbred in a second/alternative career.
