PREVIEW | Duhallow (F) Dromahane at Cork Racecourse

A total of 195 entries feature on Saturday’s four-race programme at Cork Racecourse where the going is described as Good.

Goffs Punchestown Sale Honeysuckle 4YO Mares Maiden

JENNY FLEX is a well-related individual and she offered a great deal of promise on her debut in a point-to-point bumper at Punchestown last month when chasing home the JP McManus-owned Limerick Lace.

This Walk In The Park mare herself is owned by Cheltenham Festival winning owner Brian Acheson and should be able to confirm the placings with bother Tintern Abbey and Springtime Promise who finished behind her on that occasion.

Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale 4YO Geldings Maiden

Harley Dunne has enjoyed a good run with the horses that have carried his own colours on the track during the point-to-point suspension, with POWPOWFIZZ one such horse having finished a very encouraging second in a Limerick Bumper a fortnight ago on his debut.

That experience would see him set the benchmark for this over the stable companions All The Ammunition and Alto Alto who both finished fifth on their respective debuts.

Goffs Punchestown Sale Honeysuckle 5YO Mares Maiden

SCARLET WITCH was in the process of running an eye-catching race on debut at Borris House back in November before exiting at the third last. Coming from a yard that is bang in form including success in a mares point-to-point bumper at Cork on Monday, she is certainly of notable interest in this.

Ramble West chased home the subsequent Hereford Bumper winner Ballybough Mary on her debut at Curraghmore and is sure to have improved, whilst the twice-placed Sevenofus, Queen Kulina and Honey Im Good are others to have shown promise in the past.

INHSC Supporting Point-to-Points & QR Association Helping to Promote Upcoming Jockeys 5YO Geldings Maiden

GREAT OCEAN made the frame in both of his Autumn outings, including when finishing third at Umma House on his latest start in October when he was beaten by Percy Warner, a horse who has won both of his subsequent outings over hurdles at Navan and Fairyhouse which gives the form a strong look.

Stable companion Coachman ran well on his debut, whilst Imperial Lord, Ingenious Strike and Bold Sholokhov are others to have run well to date whilst there is also a large cohort of newcomers to consider.
