Action on the Cork-Waterford circuit comes to a slightly earlier conclusion this season with Sunday’s final fixture at Ballindenisk which has attracted an excellent entry of 153.
RACE 1 – Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale 4YO Maiden
RAMBO T was only beaten five lengths on his debut at Lisronagh at the beginning of the month and that experience could stand to him in this ahead of Crypto Currency who ran well on his first outing in Dromahane two weeks ago and will certainly be expected to have improved for it.
Race 2 – Goffs UK Spring Sale 5YO Geldings Maiden
Second to Reserve Judgement on his debut at Tipperary last month, KINGOFTHEWEST would look the one to beat here.
Moore On Tour was similarly placed on his debut which came at Dawstown more recently and he is entitled to strong claims in this alongside Marias Lad, Caballo Diablo and the Dromahane late faller Somethingaboutcian.
Race 3 – 5YO+ Mares Maiden
ROSE OF COOLBALLY was an eye-catcher when making her debut around Dromahane in December as she chased home the subsequent Hunter Chase-third Clounts Glory. She has not been seen since, having been taken out of a Tipperary point-to-point bumper due to the change in going, but she could make a winning return here.
Clearly Crazy and Peerless Beauty were separated by just half a length at Tipperary, although neither took the expected step forward when appearing again recently. On that Tipperary form they wont be too far away alongside Orlaiths Island and Endless Escape.
Race 4 – INHSC Supporting Point-to-Points Open
POLI ROI has been relatively busy in recent weeks, as he backed up a fine sixth by winning well at Broughshane last Saturday and could quickly back that win up here.
Robin Re Roost and Er Dancer have both won opens on their latest outings to give the race a very strong, and it is a race that also features Warriors Tale who is will look to bounce back from a wide-margin defeat at Killarney on Monday evening.
Race 5 – Winner of Two
MELK ABBEY could be pitched in against geldings for what is just her third career start, but she could be able to cope with the challenge here having shown nice progression to win at Dromahane just last Sunday.
Backoftheenvelope won the other divide of that mares maiden, and the similarly-owned Ballygrifincottage opened his account at Lisronagh, albeit fortunate to do so following a late faller.
Race 6 – 6YO+ Geldings Maiden
MASTER MIKEY DEE took a nice step forward from his Kinsale debut when chasing home Dance To Fame at Dawstown at the beginning of the month. He would look the obvious selection for this ahead of Elusive Exclusive, Jeremy Central and Kalanisi Dream.
