ITM P2P Mares Vouchers Winners Announced

The draw for this years ITM P2P Mares Vouchers for the upcoming store sales took place this week. 

The five handlers awarded the voucher were; Micháel Francis Bates, John H. Murphy, Michael Barrett, John O. Clifford and Graham McKeever. 

The handlers were drawn randomly from the list of 72 handlers that trained a mare to win a point-to-point race during the shortened 2020-21 point-to-point season. 

Each of the above handlers will receive a €1,000 voucher to be spent on a mare or filly at the Irish National Hunt Stores during 2021. 

The promotion of mares through point-to-points continues at a time when results continue to rise. 

Star mare Honeysuckle has taken the season by storm, winning this years Cheltenham Festival Champion Hurdle, as she remains unbeaten since winning her four-year-old maiden at Dromahane for Gerry Cosgrave.
