PREVIEW | Westmeath (H) & Longford (H) at Corbeagh House - Sunday

Turtulla second Cappajine Lady goes in search of quick compensation with the form of that race having already received a timely form boost.

Race 1 – Tattersalls NH 4YO Maiden

MONTYS STAR, a half-brother of the Grade 1 winner Monalee, was narrowly denied on his debut at Tattersalls in the spring and it is noteworthy that he returns for another attempt at a maiden despite having run so promisingly on debut.

Spectacular Genius only found the more experienced Hermes Allen too good at Kirkistown on his debut which should leave him as one of the chief dangers alongside the Damma House third Special Rate. Kalanisi Star, Our Brother John, Mayheblucky and So Scottish are others who cannot be discounted.

Race 2 – Sean Powell, John McGuinness & Paul Fay Bookmaker 5YO Geldings Maiden

QUITE INCREDIBLE was just two lengths in arrears of the highly-touted and recent maiden hurdle winner Ginto when finishing third in a Fairyhouse bumper at the turn of the year. That was his second time finishing in the first three in a bumper and he could take this for Nina Carberry.

Ballykeel is interesting on his return from an absence. The close relation of Blackstairsmountain and Mt Leinster showed plenty of promise on his debut at Loughbrickland despite late mistakes, whilst Kilmacurkin, Top Of The List and Drop Him In are others to consider.

Race 3 – Irish Netting & Reilly Structural Ltd 6YO Mares Maiden

CAPPAJUNE LADY put in one of her best efforts to date when chasing home Your Own Story in a valuable contest at Turtulla and with that horse already franking the form by winning again at Moig South last Sunday, she could gain a deserved first success here.

Smiths Girl was a beaten favourite in Tattersalls but has been knocking on the door and is sure to be a danger alongside Any Time who has finished placed in each of her last two outings.

Race 4 – Connollys RedMills & The Sportsmans Inn Winner of Three

ASK D MAN has only met with defeat once since joining the David Christie yard and he could look to continue his winning ways here following a taking defeat of the capable William Tyndale at Portrush back in October.

The hat-trick seeking School Lane has been in the form of his life of late and has to be feared as a big danger with Diegos Way, Beyond Redemption and Dream On John likely next best in the place battle.

Race 5 – Quinns of Edgeworthstown Mares Open

LA FELINE has been taking on geldings in both of her two outings in open company this season, finishing a very respectable second in both, including when just two lengths behind Poli Roi when he completed a hat-trick at Dromahane recently. She could get her head in front with this switch to taking on her own sex.

The Forge Hill was in the process of running a big race when coming down at the final fence in Turtulla and is sure to provide a stiff challenge alongside Kates Hill who steps into open company for the first time having looked smart in the winners division.

Race 6 – Rawles & The INHSC 6YO Maiden

Having only been narrowly denied off a mark of 109 over hurdles at Thurles back in March, the switch to the point-to-point fields with KELLISCOOL could be rewarded here.

Winter Carnival came home particularly well at Quakerstown on his return to action recently having taken a notable step forward from his Dromahane debut, and like the Kirkistown fourth Sifaka, they offer a similar unexposed profile ahead of Kalanisi Dream.
