Race 1 - Goffs UK Spring Sale 4yo Maiden
Colin Bowe has his team of four-year-old runners in top form in recent weeks and it would be no surprise if WASPY was to go two places better than what he had managed at Dawstown on debut at the beginning of the month. Imperial Assassin was likely booked for third when exiting at the final fence in Largy and is the obvious danger, with Minella Double, Ioupy Collonges and Scrum Diddly.
Race 2 - Tattersalls NH 5yo+ Mares Maiden
GONEDAIRY could be set for a quick re-appearance having chased home Bonne Derreen at Bartlemy just las Sunday. That had marked a notable step forward from her Monksgrange debut a fortnight earlier and she enters this in top form. Granny Lowrie is a former maiden hurdle winner back in August 2020 but was subsequently disqualified and has returned to Pat Doyle following a disappointing effort last summer. Of the others, I Aint No Joke stands out having finished third at Lisronagh in March.
Race 3 - Coolmore 5&6yo Geldings Maiden
IMONLYSAYING is among the entries for a Kilbeggan bumper on Friday, but if bypassing that to come here he would look to be the one to beat here having only been narrowly denied at Lingstown back in March on his one and only outing to date. This has a competitive look to it however, and there are plenty of horses capable of putting it up to the selection including Old Beginnings, Real Rewards and the Tom Keating trio of Dr Lockdown, Lucky Zebo and Imperial Alex.
Race 4 - Johnson & Perrot and McCarthy Commercials Ltd 5yo+Confined Maiden
Liam Burke would look to have a strong hand in this with both REAL REWARDS and Samos Island capable of playing a big role in this. The latter was very unlucky to make a serious blunder at the second-last fence in Bartlemy which looked to cost him a win but as this would be his third run in ten days preference goes for his stable companion who stayed on powerfully to finish second at Dromahane a fortnight ago. Breeze Of Wind and Community Rebel are others with definite claims.
Race 5 - Pipelife Open
SOME MAN will look to extend his advantage in the leading point-to-point horse leaderboard here having became the first horse this season to reach the five-winner mark when running out a relatively comfortable victor at Broughshane last Saturday. He sets the benchmark again in this. Fils Spirituel has 15 lengths to find with the selection on their run at Loughanmore over the Easter weekend, with Stamp Your Feet and Rose Of Coolbally closely matched on their Largy run, whilst It Came To Pass can bounce back from his latest Mallow effort.
Race 6 - Geaney Property Developments Ltd Winner Of Two
ILKS MAN may have met with defeat at Dromahane two weeks when a short-priced favourite, but the Ballynoe maiden winner can regain the winning thread here at the expense of the last time out maiden winner The Galahad Kid, whilst the GAIN Final winner Koyote can take advantage of the 5lb mares allowance to enter the place battle as she returns from a final-fence fall in the Ladies Cup over the banks in Punchestown.
