The Tattersalls Cheltenham December sale will take place during the International meeting after racing on Friday 9 December. A total of 32 Lots have been catalogued so far with further wildcard entries to be added after next weekend's point-to-pointing and racing.


The Cheltenham December sale has a rich history in sourcing outstanding horses with a portfolio of seven Cheltenham Festival winners including SHISHKIN, SIR GERHARD, CHANTRY HOUSE, FAYONAGH and three Aintree Grand National winners in TIGER ROLL, NOBLE YEATS and ONE FOR ARTHUR.

Last year’s record-breaking renewal has already seen a number of exciting young graduates excel on the racecourse, including LOST IN TRANSIT the impressive winner of his bumper at the weekend for Donald McCain purchased for just £40,000. HERMES ALLEN was the runaway winner of the Grade 2 Ballymore Novices Hurdle at the Cheltenham November Meeting last month.

The catalogue includes;

Sixteen winning and placed 4yo point-to-pointers

Eleven winning & placed 5yo point-to-pointers

Four winning & placed bumper horses

One juvenile hurdle winner
