The Acting Stewards interviewed Mr M.J. Kenneally, rider of Mickthesoldier, placed third, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of the Winners Of Two.
Evidence was heard from the rider concerned.
Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Acting Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 58. 3.(i) in that he had used the whip without allowing his mount at least three strides to respond.
Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Acting Stewards suspended Mr M.J. Kenneally for two Point to Point racedays.

The Acting Stewards interviewed Mr P. Lake, rider of Milan Dollar Lady, placed fourth, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of the 5yo Mares Maiden.
Evidence was heard from the rider concerned.
Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Acting Stewards were satisfied that Mr P. Lake had not used his whip above the permitted level in accordance with Regulation 58. 3(g).
