The West Waterford (F) Tallow point-to-point will take place on Sunday 9th February at Shanakill Cross, Conna.
Their former chairperson Gerty (nee Treacy) Murphy passed away last year on March 24th.
Gerty was described as invaluable member of the Tallow point-to-point committee and served as chairperson for a number years and is sorely missed by all that knew her.
In her memory, this years adjacent maiden is going to be run in her honour and the Treacy family have very kindly offered to boost the prize fund by €500.
The adjacent maiden is the last race on the card and is for five-year-old and upwards and for those holding valid hunter certificates for the following; West Waterford (F), United Hunt (F), Kilworth & Araglen (H) and Lismore (H).
Entries for this meeting close on Tuesday 4th February at 12 noon.
