Saturday’s card at Fairyhouse has been postponed after the course was found to be unfit for racing following heavy rain.
The Co. Meath venue received a 21mm of rain overnight following 14mm on Friday, and IHRB Clerk of the Course estimated that up to 60mm of rain had fallen there since Thursday morning.
The opening day of the Irish Grand National festival, which includes the Race Displays Joseph O’Reilly Hunter Chase, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, and reverts to entry stage.
