Five ThoroughBid Bonus-eligible lots feature in April Sale

Bidding will get underway at 9am on Tuesday 29 April for ThoroughBid’s April Sale, which features over 40 lots and looks to follow up the 79% clearance rate from March’s sale, featuring five horses eligible for ThoroughBid’s attractive £5,000 Point2Rules Bonus.

Should any of Mosstown Mill (Lot 31), Master Muggins (Lot 24), Western Clouds (Lot 25), Brockrock Roxie (Lot 21) or Cross Of Redmoor (Lot 14) be successful on Rules debut after being sold with ThoroughBid, they will trigger the online auction house’s popular £5,000 Point2Rules Bonus for new connections.

The sale features a real mix to suit every buyer, including a whole host of entries with eye-catching pages. Lot 8, a three-year-old Telescope filly X Speed Bonnie Boat, is a half-sister to the three-time winner and Cheltenham Festival-placed Kyntara, Lot 12, a four-year-old Jack Hobbs filly X Nanny’s Pat, is closely related to Cheltenham Festival Champion Bumper winner Ballyandy, and Nile Star (Lot 10), is a lovely three-year-old store by Cloth Of Stars from the family of Queen Mother Champion Chase-winning star Politologue.

There are also consignments from Gordon Elliott and Henry de Bromhead, as well as David Armstrong, who is well-known to ThoroughBid having successfully sold and bought many horses with the online auction house.

CEO for ThoroughBid, James Richardson, said: “We’re really looking forward to getting bidding underway for our April Sale on Tuesday. There’s a real mix of everything in this month’s sale, and we’re keeping a good eye on five lots who are eligible for our popular £5,000 Point2Rules Bonus. Should any of them win on Rules debut after being sold with us, £5,000 will be coming the way of their new connections.

“There’s also a notable amount of well-bred young stock, including relations to many Cheltenham Festival winners, and with consignments from top yards such as Gordon Elliott and Henry de Bromhead, we’re excited to see bidding begin at 9am on Tuesday morning, buoyed by last month’s 79% clearance rate.”
