Panda Boy ran out an impressive nine length winner of the SIS Supporting Irish Racing Hunters Chase in the hands of Finny Maguire carrying the colours of Claire Gleeson.
The Martin Brassil trained gelding had previously caught the eye when running a fine race at Ballindenisk in November on his season debut.
The grey son of Valirann travelled well throughout and kept on well in the straight to see off the challenge of Lifetime Amibtion. He gave his supporters a little worry at the final fence when he slightly ducked at it.
Panda Boys’ regular rider John Gleeson who is out with a shoulder injury hopes to return to action in the coming weeks.

Such a tough performance from the grey in a race that usually impacts the @CheltenhamRaces markets in March ....
