Damien Loughnane, whose family own and bred the Liam Cusack-trained 2019 Galway Plate-third Snugsborough Benny, made his point-to-point debut aboard Added Time at Ballinaboola in February 2019. It was on that family-owned son of Scorpion that he recorded his first success when winning at a big price in Borris House in December 2019. That maiden victory was also his father Ray's first as a handler. The Offaly native's brother Brian also holds a rider's license.
