SUMMARY

•    A three way tie at the top of the table was the very popular result to the 1990 riders table. Paddy Graffin, Enda Bolger and John Berry ceased riding short of the seasons end when they all drew level. It was Bolger’s fourth title, Berry’s second and Graffin’s first time to win it.
•    John Berry had a season to remember taking the Kim Muir on Master Bob for Nicky Henderson.
•    Suzanne Finn(now Lynch) and Michelle Holohan shared the ladies title with three winners.
•    Ah Whist took the Champion Hunter Chase by twenty lengths under Enda Bolger to continue his dominance of that sphere.
•    Adrian Maguire rode his first winner between the flags in ’90 but more was to come.
•    Paul Carberry rode his first winner in Sandyford aboard Joseph Knibb carrying thirteen stone. The pair later went to Liverpool where Paul got a spectacular fall but he would master the art of the National fences in years to come.
•    Gerry Mulcaire finally broke the Costello hold on the Connaught title. For the first time since 1982 the Connaught title didn’t reside with Costello’s with Dermot and Tom giving best.
