WASDALE PARK had been unable to back-up his Bandon success when turned out a week later and disappointing in Castlelands, however he comes here a fresher horse and sets the standard ahead of the Ballycrystal winner Mizuma. He overcame the saddle slipping in the closing stages to record his first success against fellow winners, whilst Benefits Jeu can get closer than he managed in Lingstown back in December.
