BESSIE GROVE had a subsequent maiden winner behind her when finishing a close fourth at Fairyhouse at the end of last season. With the runner-up from that contest having also won a bumper in the interim, the subsequent form of that race suggests she should be well up to winning this. Galatrona is the obvious danger after her debut in Carrigarostig three weeks, where like her stablemate Risk De Cerisy, she filled the runners-up spot, whilst Moonshine River has also been knocking on door, and she has more experience to call on.
