New Goffs P2P Sale to be Held Friday 6 November

Goffs are pleased to announce a new Point-to-Point Sale, the November P2P Sale, which will be held at an established Goffs sales venue to be confirmed closer to the event on Friday 6 November.

The sale will be dedicated to Irish and UK Pointers as well as Bumper horses and young horses with form, and will be held at either Kildare Paddocks in Ireland or the Doncaster Sales Complex in the UK. Both are proven NH venues with horses sold up to €360,000 and £620,000 respectively, the latter a world record price for a NH horse-in-training.

Announcing the Goffs November P2P Sale, Goffs Group Chief Executive Henry Beeby commented:

“With the latter part of 2019-20 point-to-point season cancelled, as well as our highly successful Aintree and Punchestown Sales, we have been working to find a solution to get our P2P sales back up and running. Handlers too are very keen to see a return of P2P sales and this new date sits well with the commencement of P2Ps this coming autumn.

“We are fortunate that Goffs has two proven NH venues, Kildare Paddocks and the Doncaster Sales Complex, in which to conduct the sale and we will confirm the location closer to the time when we have a clearer picture regarding COVID-19 restrictions. We have spoken to a number of P2P handlers and buyers regarding this new venture for 2020 and the feedback has been very positive so we are confident we will offer a strong catalogue of pointers to a vibrant buying bench on Friday 6 November.”
